One major goal, in the original de- velopment plans for Ocean Shores, was the sale of a large share of the land as sites for "second homes"--recreational homes--for average families. So far, 0000o Houses are up, already, on many of . :: the homesites---about 160 private dwell- ings are on the project now. Skyline, a new luxury resort marina, is located on Flounder Bay, 3V2 miles west of Anacortes. This new development includes "a 160- berth moorage for members and guests, a recreation area for lawn games, horseshoes, badminton, ball and beach games. A well- equipped store features groceries, marine supplies, fishing bait and tackle and an agency for Johnson Outboard Motors. Skyline's spacious heated out-door pobl has a bath house and deck games for sun- bathing and pool parties. A European chef presides over the res- taurant, featuring eating facilities for dining or banquets and a cocktail lounge. The res- taurant houses the shower and laundry fa- cilities for the mariners. The private airport has hangars, gear lockers, maintenance service and fueling. Residential sites are available as fly-in locations or marine view. Mariners may clear U. S. customs daily, aircraft may clear customs by making prior arrangements.
