March 15, 1963 Catholic Northwest Progress----13 diocesan Gift Plans ) rtunity to Participate in the Future of the Church in the Northwest Builder's Gift Plan It is estimated thai the maiority of the Catholics of the Archdiocese will wish to consider this as their sacrificial gift to the Development Fund. The total pledge for the Builder's Gift is $100, payable over a oeriod of six months. This involves a down payment of $10 at the time the pledge is made. Thereafter. to complete their pledges, don- ors will make a monthly payment of SIS during the six-month payment period. This type of gift is considered well within the financial capability of most families and wage earners in the Archdiocese since the sacrifice after the down payment amounts to only SO cents a day. Archbishop Connolly Guild A gift to this first Archdiocesan Development Fund of $S,000 or more will enroll the donor as a member of the Archbishop Connolly Guild and aid most substantially in our endeavors to expand many facilities in the Archdiocese. Your gift will be gratefully acknowledged through the presentation of an attractive award suitable for permanent display in home or office. This award will consist of a personally auto- graphed portrait of His Excellency, Archbishop Thomas A. Con nolly, and an attractive scroll in- scribed to you, the donor. This gift can be paid over a period of 10 months. Archdiocesan Sponsor In order to afford an opportunity for as many as possible to participate in this Advanced Gifts appeal, and thus contribute to the success of the Development Fund, the Archdiocesan Sponsor's gift plan has been instituted. All those who con- tribute $1,000 or more will receive a specially pre- pared Soonsor's Certificate as recognition of their generosity. This gift may also be paid over a period of 10 months. Benefactor's Gift-Plan So that as many Catholics as possible may par- ticipafe in the Special Gift phase of the program, a "Benefactor's Gift Plan" has been developed. For the sum of 2S dollars down and 2S dollars a month over a period of nine months (2S0 dollars) you may become a Benefactor. The Benefactor is also entitled to receive a special certificate in rec- ognition of his generous gift. Founders Gift Plan A unique opportunity for generous participa- tion in the Archdiocesan Development Fund is available for those who will become "Founders" of the institutions which will be built or enlarged as a result of the Development Fund program. You may be a Founder by contributing SO0 dollars or more. As a founder you will receive a specially prepared Founder's Certificate in recognition of your gift. This gift may be paid over a period of I 0 months. Contributions to the Archdiocesan Development Fund will be accepted only if they are in conformity with the gift plans which have been set up. The construction program is a multi-million dol- lar one and it is felt that only those who, with some sacrifice, are capable of making a minimum gift of $10 a month should be ex- pected to share financially in this capital building effort. Those who are in truth incapable of making a sacrifice of the minimum $10 a month for several months are not expected to give to the Development Fund. These persons may share in the program through their prayers, intentions and good works.
